As a Strategist, Simone works with companies, government organisations, universities and not-for-profits to increase their engagement and sustainability through good governance, strategies that work, and operational plans that make sense.
Bringing 30+ years’ experience, working across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, Simone has led multiple turnarounds and strategic redevelopments, from small businesses ($35m pa) to large government departments ($4.2bn pa).
As a visual facilitator and illustrator, Simone uses a graphic method to draw out innovative responses to seemingly intractable problems allows her to work with clients to ensure long-lasting sustainable change through active, genuine engagement.
With multiple academic and professional qualifications, Simone is a sought-after speaker, facilitator and strategist. She has an Executive Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts, is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Simone is also a qualified mediator, providing financial & commercial mediation services within Australia. Her practice, Finch Mediation, focusses on equitable outcomes that provide a way forward for all parties.
On a personal note, Simone is a ‘curator of vintage’, with a focus on ethical and sustainable fashion, a passion for 1940s fashion and slow clothing, and an active involvement in affecting real change in the issue of modern slavery, consumption and waste.
